This app, called FreeStyle Libre, brings the innovative technology of measuring the level of glucose in the blood in a much easier way, helping in the treatment of diabetes.

The app, which replaces the old method of measuring glucose in a person, which was more intrusive, works through a sensor.

This sensor is then placed on the person’s arm, directly on the skin, and it will scan the glucose level, all in real time and very accurately. After the data is collected, it goes to the application on the cell phone.

This sensor can be wet, because it is waterproof, allowing the person with diabetes to take a bath and go into the pool, for example, without worrying about damaging the device.

The data presented on the cell phone by the application connected to the sensor, brings the presentation of graphs and reports of the glucose levels. In addition, the app allows it to be shared with family members and with the doctor, making the treatment even easier.

With its more modern method, bringing more ease and safety of glucose measurement, the app with its sensor has been a success.
